Steelers Surprising Win!

Well, the Steelers surprisingly (to me at least) won their game on Sunday. They beat the Green Bay Packers 37-36, and they barely did it. Ben Roethlisberger threw a 19 yard pass to Mike Wallace. Mike Wallace was very helpful in this game with 2 receptions for 79 yards, and scored 2 TD’s. Even though he didn’t have many yards or receptions, he helped the Steelers win the game by catching the game winning catch. Now, I don’t think the Steelers would have scored if the Packers hadn’t had 3 penalties on that drive. In the whole game, you could tell that the Packers are the most penalized team in the NFL. Hines Ward was the main reciever on the Steelers. He had 7 receptions for 126 yards. Now, he wasn’t the best on the Steelers tonight, but he was thrown to a lot.

Now, the Steelers have one chance of making it to the playoffs, and that is beating the Ravens. I don’t think that the Dolphins are going to be a big threat to the defending Super Bowl champs. They might be a problem if they don’t keep up the good work, but baltimore is their main threat. I don’ think that they will make it to the Super Bowl this year. They might make it to the playoffs, it will take a lot (and I mean a lot) of work. This next game on the Steeler schedule is probably the game of the week. Maybe. But I know it is going to be good. Rashard Mendenhall has not been very productive lately. Rashard had 11 carries for 38 yards and 1 TD. They are going to have to fix that if they want to have any chance at going to the playoffs.  And if they do, I think that they will lose their first game. Ben Roethilsberger is having a sensational year. In this game against the Packers, he completed 29\46 passess and had 503 yards. He also had 3 TD’s and NO interceptions. On the other hand, Aaron Rodgers had an acceptional day. He had 26\48 completed for 383 yards and 3 TD’s. Both teams had wonderful passing games. Greg Jennings, the Packers best WR in the game on Sunday, had 5 Receptions for 118 yards and 1 TD.

The Steelers lucked out and got the win this week. I think that the Steelers are going to get it together and beat the Ravens next week. I think the score will be Steelers, 27, Ravens, 24. Well, we have to wait till nect week to watch the Steelers to play. And hopefully, they will win! Have a good Christmas! Go Steelers!

Nice. I think that Arians saw that there were 2 corners inactive for the Pack and he decided to throw it at them. And he used the run just enough-Mendenhall got one TD. He had close to a four yard average, mostly when the Packers were stacking the box. The player who needs a good talkin to is Tyrone Carter. He missed that tackle where he just hit the guy, ran and had a conversation with him, and then left. Silly! but they won, and that’s amazing because it doesn’t happen a lot. KNOCK-KNOCK!
