    1. Notes
    2. ^ There was no official World Cup Third Place match in 1930; The United States and Yugoslavia lost in the semi-finals. FIFA now recognises the United States as the third-placed team and Yugoslavia as the fourth-placed team, using the overall records of the teams in the tournament.[43]
    3. ^ a b There was no official World Cup final match in 1950.[44] The tournament winner was decided by a final round-robin group contested by four teams (Uruguay, Brazil, Sweden, and Spain). Coincidentally, one of the last two matches of the tournament pitted the two top ranked teams against each other, with Uruguay’s 2–1 victory over Brazil thus often being considered as the de facto final of the 1950 World Cup.[45] Likewise, the game between the lowest ranked teams, played at the same time as Uruguay vs Brazil, can be considered equal to a Third Place match, with Sweden’s 3–1 victory over Spain ensuring that they finished third.

    (Info From www.wikipedia.org.)

The Final of 2010 was a very close one the whole way through, until John Heitinga got his second yellow card and was sent off the field, and the Netherlands had to play with 10 men instead of 11.

I think that Spain earned the World Cup. They beat Potrugal, then Paraguay, then Germany to get to the Final. They kept there composure in the final and won it! I am happy for Spain, winning their first world cup, ever!!!

So long! And enjoy the rest of your summer! And if you’re watching the tour, Enjoy the Tour de France!!! And enjoy the MLB Home Run Derby! And enjoy the MLB All-Star game!! And Enjoy… Enjoy… whatever you like to enjoy!!!

    1. I find it hilarious how the soccer players will be running around and then just act like they got a head injury or they hurt their knee or something. They’ll be running and then they’ll act all of a sudden grab their knee and then point at the other guy. THen they will get back upand run at the other guy, and when they hit him, they will be going, “I DIDN”T DO IT!” THey need an acting penalty.
