Believe it or not… we are already in week 6 of the 2010-11 season! It is also hard to believe that next year is 2011! For me at least. So far, I think it has been a really crazy 6 weeks of the NFL. The Steelers survived the 4 weeks without Ben Roethlisberger! The Chiefs went 3-0 in the first three weeks of the seasons. Randy Moss was traded to the Vikings. Brett Favre has disappointed many. The Bengals have disappointed as well.
The Steelers have Big Ben back and he has an easy start-up game to play against the Cleveland Browns (in my opinion), assuming the defense plays well, he plays well, and the offense plays well. I think this game is going to be somewhere around 27-9. I want to see how the defense plays in this game. Especially in this game, because it is against the Browns. The Browns do not have the greatest offense. Peyton Hillis has shown that he can run the ball for the Browns, but the passing game has not been there. I want to see if the Steelers defense lets their guard down, 1. because the game is against the Cleveland Browns and 2. because Ben is back, or if they show why they are the #1 defense in the league.
Big Ben is going to have to make some changes as well. Here is an article from Bucky Brooks on NFL.com:
So, I think Ben is going to have to accept that the Steelers have turned into, not totally, more of a running team. The Steelers have been running the ball the last 5 weeks and it isn’t going to go well to just turn into a passing team because Ben is back. Ben Roethlisberger is definitely a big improvement for the offense, but it is an IMPROVEMENT! It is not a total change!
I am excited to see what happens in the NFL on Sunday/Monday! I think the Steelers are going to win their game. Here are my predicitions for this week:
