Movies vs. Video Games

I went to see Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 3D today. It was pretty good. They really didn’t take advantage of the 3D view, but the storyline and acting and everything was pretty good. I would give it 4 1/2 stars. I would defenitaly recommend seeing this movie.

But, that is not what I am here to talk about. The movie got me thinking about all media. What is “better” for you? With TV, you are just sitting there watching something, and some things on there are pretty stupid. And Video Games, you are sort of thinking. You are trying to accomplish the objective by destroying people, racing, whatever the game is. Then, you have the new stuff like the Kinect for Xbox 360 or the Wii. Your moving, but your still staring at a screen.

Well, tell me what you think!

  1. Studies have actually proven that video games, in moderation, improve your brain. Eventually they will have the same effect as TV, if you do it enough, but in moderation it strengthens that grey blob with nerves in it on the inside of your skull
